In Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district, six people gang-raped a dancer by inviting them to a property dealer’s birthday party. An officer told that all the accused are absconding, a search operation has been started to nab them.
According to the FIR lodged by the victim, her team of three dancers was hired for Rs 6,000 to perform at the party in Deepak Nagar.
The complaint states that when she was leaving the event, six men, who were in an inebriated condition, abducted her in a car and raped her in a nearby forest. The victim alleges that she first approached the Jajmau police with her complaint, but they did not take any action. Later, she contacted the Kotwali police in Unnao Sadar. After this, a case was registered against the accused.
Search operation started to nab the accused- Police
Superintendent of Police (Unnao) Siddharth Meena said that the medical examination of the victim has been conducted to confirm the rape allegations, while a search operation has been launched to nab the accused.
On the other hand, a case of alleged obscene act by the supervisor there has come to light with a girl working in a factory located in Kasna police station area of Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The accused has been arrested on the complaint of the woman. The police gave this information on Friday. Inspector-in-charge of Kasna police station, Santosh Kumar Shukla told that a girl from Sambhal district works in a company located in the police station area. He told that the woman alleges that Sunil, the supervisor of her company, used to do obscene acts with her after finding her alone, and demanded to have a physical relationship with her. When the victim opposed his action, he fired her from the job. He told that on the complaint of the victim, the accused was arrested today by registering an FIR against Sunil.
