Indore: Three diplomats from the American Board of Orofacial Pain provided training to the post graduate students and dentists of Government College of Density. A two-day workshop on orofacial pain was organised in the college campus on Sunday.

The workshop was attended by more than 50 delegates from several states, including Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and even Nepal. The chief guest of the event was Dr. Satish Shukla who inspired the dentists and imparted his wisdom to new students embarking on new path.
First workshop to be held in Central India
In several sessions, Drs. Deshraj Jain, Sandhya Jain, Shivakshi, and Priyanka Nikose spoke at the workshop. According to HoD Dr. Ajay Parihar, this was the first workshop to be held in Central India.
“One of the main debilitating diseases, orofacial pain causes patients to experience discomfort in their mouth, face, and temporomandibular joint areas. Most patients are unsure whether to see a dentist, orthopaedic surgeon, ENT surgeon, or oral surgeon,” he explained.
