Google Pixel 8: On October 4, Google will unveil the Pixel Watch 2 and its eagerly anticipated Pixel 8 range of smartphones. Press renderings of the phones have leaked before the unveiling, revealing details about their specifications and design. Read on to learn more.
Google Pixel 8, 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2 renders leaked
WinFuture revealed the press renders, and in a report by the media, the publication also revealed certain specifications and pricing information.
The two forthcoming phones are depicted in various colours in the renders. The Google Pixel 8 will probably be available in four distinct colours, while the Google Pixel 8 Pro will likely have three colour options.
Both phones are depicted in the press renders with a design that Pixel users would be accustomed to. There have been slight adjustments. Both phones feature a punch-hole notch and thin bezels.
Expected Specs
The Google Pixel 8’s base model will include a 6.17-inch Full HD AMOLED display with an up to 120Hz refresh rate, claims a report from WinFuture. A 6.7-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz will be featured on the Pixel 8 Pro, in contrast.
The Pixel 8 is said to have 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, which would significantly improve performance. It’ll be driven by a Google Tensor G3 SoC. With 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage, the Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to offer three different storage options.
A 50-megapixel primary back camera will be present on both smartphones. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera will be found in the Pixel 8, while the Pixel 8 Pro will have a triple camera arrangement with a 64-megapixel and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Both models will include an 11-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Expected price details
While the Pixel 8 Pro could start at EUR 1099 (about Rs. 96,500), the expected starting price for the Pixel 8 is EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 70,200).
