JEE Main Topper: Shivansh Nair, a 17-year-old from Gurugram, Haryana, has secured a perfect 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2024 January session exam. Aspiring to pursue computer science engineering at IIT Bombay, Nair began his JEE preparation in Class 9 at Vidyamandir Classes.
Haryana’s Gurugram Resident, 17, Credits Success to Teachers and Dedicated Preparation
Acknowledging the importance of coaching and teachers, Nair attributes his success to their efforts and trust. From a young age, he had a keen interest in engineering, particularly in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, which motivated him to take up the JEE entrance test. His parents, both working professionals, encouraged him to focus on giving his best rather than solely aiming for top results.
Dedicating himself more to JEE preparation in Class 11 and 12, Nair focused on completing the syllabus, attempting previous years’ test papers, and maintaining daily revisions. Despite also appearing for CBSE Class 12 board exams this year, he prioritized JEE preparation. While enjoying chess and reading books during his free time, Nair looks forward to the JEE Main April session.
