In the (now-deleted) video that spread online, Dua was seen sitting on Deepika’s lap in a blue co-ord set. Deepika appeared upset and quickly tried to stop the recording. Despite her efforts, the short glimpse of Dua’s face went viral, sparking frenzy among netizens.
Some fans admired the baby’s cuteness and even called her the “carbon copy of Ranveer Singh.” However, others strongly criticised the uploader, saying it was a clear violation of privacy. Following the backlash, the original video was taken down.

While many gushed over Dua’s resemblance to her father, others stressed that no parent should be forced into revealing their child without consent. One user wrote, “She is adorable, but it is wrong to share without permission.” Another said, “Dua looks exactly like Ranveer, such a bundle of joy.”

Interestingly, Deepika and Ranveer had earlier introduced Dua to a few photographers in a private setting. The couple requested them not to take unauthorised pictures. Photographer Yogen Shah shared, “When Deepika brought her daughter to meet us, the little one was sleeping. Her features looked like a mix of both parents. When she opened her eyes, there was beauty and innocence.”
Another paparazzo noted that while children’s looks change as they grow, at that moment, Dua looked more like her mother. Deepika is currently taking care of her daughter herself without hiring a nanny, with Ranveer playing an active role in parenting.
On the work front, Deepika has Allu Arjun and Atlee’s AA22 X A6 and Shah Rukh Khan starrer King. Ranveer Singh is also preparing for the release of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar in December.
