Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Extends Greetings on First Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Taking to social media, the Chief Minister described the Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the eternal guide and source of divine wisdom that continues to illuminate lives across the world.

In his message, Bhagwant Mann referred to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the “Boat of Bani, the Source of Knowledge, and the Sovereign of the Spiritual Throne”. He emphasized that the sacred Gurbani enshrined in the holy scripture teaches the path of righteous living and inspires individuals to lead a life filled with humility, compassion, and truth.

Guru Granth Sahib Ji has been revered as the eternal Guru

The First Parkash Purab of Guru Granth Sahib Ji holds immense spiritual and cultural significance for Sikhs worldwide. It commemorates the day when the Sikh scripture was first installed at Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), Amritsar, in 1604 by Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Since then, Guru Granth Sahib Ji has been revered as the eternal Guru, guiding humanity towards peace, unity, and selfless service.

Bhagwant Mann also underlined the importance of following the timeless teachings of Gurbani in today’s world, where values of equality, harmony, and brotherhood are needed more than ever.
