Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has announced the development of a unique ‘Bharat Park’ in the Madhuban Bapudham scheme at a cost of ₹45 crore. Spread over 6.5 acres, the park will be the first of its kind in the NCR, designed around the theme of Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
According to officials, the park will highlight India’s future journey, achievements, and Vision 2047 through five innovative zones. These zones will showcase themes such as India 2047 Dome Journey, Digital India Vision, and Environmental Conservation. Exhibitions will also feature India’s space milestones, including the lunar landing, offering visitors an immersive experience.
Blending Entertainment with Learning
The park aims to provide a unique combination of education, entertainment, and wellness. Children will get an opportunity to learn about India’s growth story through interactive displays and play-based activities. Families visiting the park will be able to enjoy recreational spaces while also gaining awareness about the country’s vision for a sustainable and technologically advanced future.

The park will be equipped with world-class amenities, including:
- Entry plaza and synthetic running track
- Public toilets and drinking water points
- Smart lighting and other smart facilities
- Walking and cycling trails
- Children’s play area and water structures

A Landmark for NCR
Highlighting its importance, GDA Vice Chairman Atul Vats said, “This park will not only be an attraction for NCR but will also contribute to reducing pollution and providing a healthy environment for nearby families. Suggestions are being taken from specialist consultants to give the park a world-class character.”
Promoted as the first theme-based park in NCR, Bharat Park is expected to become a hub for recreation, education, and community wellness. It will serve as a space where people can witness India’s vision for 2047 while enjoying a cleaner and greener atmosphere.
