Comedian Samay Raina is back in the spotlight with a fun video featuring Yuzvendra Chahal’s rumoured girlfriend RJ Mahvash. The video was made for a makeup brand and seems to take subtle jabs at Chahal’s ex-wife Dhanashree Verma. Fans and netizens have quickly noticed the hints.

Although Samay didn’t name Dhanashree directly, many linked his jokes to her. In the clip, he made several references hinting at Chahal and the alleged cheating claims. When Mahvash said her favourite letter was M. Samay quipped, “Mera hai U, Z (Yuzvi),” hinting at Chahal. He also mentioned a “rise and fall” within two months, which many saw as a reference to Dhanashree’s statements about Chahal.
The teasing continued when Samay asked Mahvash, “What’s half of 8 crore?” She replied, 4 crore, a possible nod to the alleged Rs 4.75 crore alimony. He also wore a T-shirt that said, “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy.” Yuzvendra Chahal had also worn a similar Tee during his divorce.

Yuzvendra Chahal seemed to enjoy the jokes. He shared a screenshot from a video call with Samay, laughing during their chat. On Samay’s post, Chahal laughed and commented, “Be ready for one more case @maisamayhoon #4cr.”
Meanwhile, Dhanashree Verma has not reacted to the video.
Fans quickly reacted online. Some joked, “Yuzi bhai mic aur kursi Samay ke pith pe maarke todega,” while others wrote, “Bhai ye banda khud bhi jail jaaega… Or is baar Yuzi aur Mahvash ko saath leke jaaega.” The video has gone viral and is trending on social media.
Samay’s IGL Controversy
This is not the first controversy for Samay Raina. Earlier in 2025, his YouTube show India’s Got Latent (IGL) faced legal trouble after an episode with guest Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps. A crude joke about parents sparked outrage and multiple FIRs. Samay removed all IGL episodes from YouTube and appeared before the Maharashtra Cyber Cell, expressing regret over the incident.
