Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid respectful homage to the brave sons of Mother India on the founding day of the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army), calling them the roar of India’s freedom struggle and the flame of patriotism.

Translation of the post:
“The thunder of the Indian freedom movement, the blaze of patriotism — on the founding day of the Azad Hind Fauj, I bow a hundred times to the brave sons of Mother India!

This day is not merely the remembrance of an organisation’s birth, but the memory of that flame which turned worship of the nation into a call to arms, gave the courage to break the chains of subjugation, and made the voice of independent India resound across the world.

Jai Hind!

‘You give me blood, I will give you freedom.’

On the founding day of the Azad Hind Fauj, I bow in humble reverence to those heroic sons who wove every citizen into the fabric of nationality and sacrificed their lives for Mother India’s freedom.”

Remembering the INA’s Legacy

The Azad Hind Fauj, led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, occupies a unique place in India’s struggle for independence. Its call for complete freedom and willingness to take up arms inspired many young patriots and left an enduring legacy of courage and sacrifice. CM Yogi’s tribute reiterates the importance of remembering those who chose action over resignation during the freedom movement.

Call for Patriotism and National Unity

In his message, Yogi Adityanath urged citizens—especially the youth—to draw inspiration from the INA’s spirit of sacrifice and commitment to the nation. He stressed that such commemorations are an opportunity to reinforce values of national unity, discipline, and service to the country.

Official Observances and Events in Uttar Pradesh

The state government has encouraged schools, colleges, and district administrations to organise memorial events, patriotic functions, and educational programmes to acquaint younger generations with the INA’s contributions. Ceremonies, wreath-laying at war memorials, and special lectures are expected across Uttar Pradesh to mark the day.

A Renewed Promise to the Fallen

Concluding his tribute, CM Yogi called upon all citizens to honour the memory of the INA by working for the nation’s progress and upholding the ideals for which its members laid down their lives. “Their sacrifice must inspire us to build a stronger, self-reliant India,” he said, offering a final salute to the martyrs.
