CM Yogi Adityanath Allocates ₹11.5 Crore for Welfare and Facilities of UP Police Personnel

The allocation will be utilized for upgrading residential facilities, improving working conditions, and supporting health and welfare programs.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has approved a total allocation of ₹11.5 crore for the welfare and convenience of police personnel serving across the state.

According to the Government of Uttar Pradesh, an amount of ₹3.5 crore has been allocated to strengthen infrastructure and improve basic amenities for police officials posted in different districts and units. Additionally, ₹8 crore has been sanctioned for welfare activities aimed at ensuring better living standards and social security for police personnel and their families.

The state government stated that the move is a step towards recognizing the tireless efforts of the police force, who play a vital role in maintaining law and order. The allocation will be utilized for upgrading residential facilities, improving working conditions, and supporting health and welfare programs.

Officials mentioned that under CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the government has consistently prioritized police modernization and capacity building. Over the past few years, several measures have been undertaken to provide advanced training, strengthen communication systems, and introduce smart policing technologies to enhance efficiency and transparency in the force.
