Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19 has been full of drama, emotional exits and unexpected twists. Amid recent shocking evictions, the massive drop in the show’s viewership is grabbing attention. The popular reality series has seen a dip despite being at the top in most-watched non-fiction shows on OTT.

Bigg Boss 19 Viewership Takes A Hit

According to the latest report by Ormax Media, Bigg Boss 19 remains the top non-fiction OTT show but has recorded a noticeable decline in audience engagement. Fans blame the drop on the recent evictions, calling the show “biased” and “over-edited.”

The controversy began with Baseer Ali’s eviction, which left fans furious. Soon after, Abhishek Bajaj was also eliminated. Now, reports confirmed that Mridul Tiwari has been evicted too. His mid-week exit has left viewers even more disappointed, as many believed he would make it to the finale due to his strong fan base and YouTuber support.

Social media has been flooded with reactions from fans expressing their frustration over these eliminations.
Some comments read:
“TRP Gone.”
“The #baseerali effect. Trp decreasing ever since Baseer was evicted.”
“Get ready, it’s week me Bigg Boss least watch hoga.”
“Baseer Ali effect from 8.0 to 7.0 tak ka safar.”
“BB is a reality show, the best well-edited show.”

While Bigg Boss 19 continues to lead the non-fiction OTT category, the second position belongs to Pati Patni Aur Panga. The show has gained momentum among audiences, overtaking Indian Idol 16, which dropped out of the Top 5 list two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 has secured the third position, followed by the Tamil and Telugu versions of Bigg Boss in fourth and fifth places, respectively.

Farhana Bhatt Tops BB19’s Current Popularity Rankings

Amidst the chaos, the Week 11 popularity rankings of Bigg Boss 19 have also seen major changes. Farhana Bhatt has emerged as the top favourite after Abhishek Bajaj’s exit. Gaurav Khanna now stands at second place, followed by Tanya Mittal in third and Pranit More in fourth. Ashnoor Kaur has made her way into the Top 5 for the first time.

The upcoming weeks are expected to be crucial as the show approaches its finale. Sources reveal that Bigg Boss 19 is likely to wrap up by December without any extension or new wild card entries.

Online buzz suggests that Gaurav Khanna and Amaal Mallik could face off in the grand finale for the trophy. Whether the show regains its lost momentum or continues to face backlash remains to be seen.
