Govinda Health Update: Why Was Actor Hospitalised Just A Day After Visiting ‘Sick’ Dharmendra? His Lawyer Shares Details!

Govinda was rushed to a Mumbai hospital after feeling unwell and losing consciousness. His lawyer confirmed he is stable, and all tests are complete as doctors await further reports.

Bollywood actor Govinda was rushed to CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday after feeling unwell. Reports suggest he lost consciousness, which led to an emergency admission.

Govinda Health Update: Here’s What His Lawyer Said

Speaking to the media, Govinda’s lawyer Lalit Bindal said, “He was feeling disoriented. All tests are done, and we are now awaiting reports and opinion of neuro consultation. He is stable now.” Fans can be reassured that the actor is stable and under careful medical supervision.

Govinda’s hospitalisation comes just a day after he visited fellow actor Dharmendra, who was recovering at Breach Candy Hospital. A video showed Govinda leaving the hospital with a grim expression, which worried fans.

When Chi Chi Was Hospitalised After Bullet Injury

This is not the first time Govinda has been hospitalised recently. Last year, on October 1, he suffered a bullet injury at home when his licensed revolver accidentally misfired. According to Mumbai Police, he was preparing to leave for Kolkata and was putting the gun back in a cupboard when it went off, injuring his knee.

Govinda was admitted immediately and discharged three days later. He was accompanied by his wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja. At the time, he told reporters, “I was about to leave for a show in Kolkata. It was about 5 in the morning. Aur uss time par vo giri aur chal padi (and it just fell and went off). I was shocked by what happened and when I looked down, I saw a fountain of blood. Then I made a video and spoke to the doctor and got admitted.”

The actor greeted fans and media with folded hands, showing his gratitude for their concern.

Govinda: Professional Front

Govinda has been a part of Bollywood for more than three decades. He rose to fame in the late 1980s and 1990s with films like Ilzaam (1986), Love 86 (1986) and Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna (1994). His collaborations with director David Dhawan gave audiences blockbuster hits such as Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1, Raja Babu and Partner.

Govinda has also impressed in serious and dramatic roles. His last film, Rangeela Raja, was released in 2019. Fans are now eagerly waiting for updates and wishing him a speedy recovery.
