A brand-new, high-tech township—designed with facilities on par with major metropolitan cities—is set to rise in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district. The Saharanpur Development Authority (SDA) has officially launched this ambitious project, which aims to reshape the urban landscape and offer modern living standards to residents.
According to SDA Vice Chairman Santosh Kumar Rai, the mega township will be developed over 50 hectares, with a total investment of ₹600 crore. Equipped with advanced amenities such as well-planned roads, landscaped parks, underground electricity cabling, and nearly 1,000 residential plots, the township promises a significant boost to the region’s infrastructure quality.
Three-Year Completion Target
Officials confirmed that the project is expected to be completed within three years, ensuring swift execution and timely availability of plots to buyers. Once ready, the township is likely to ease population pressure on central Saharanpur and support its expansion into a modern, well-structured urban hub.
Metro-City Level Amenities
The design of the new township includes:
- Wide, modern roads with proper drainage
- Green parks and recreational spaces
- Underground cabling and upgraded utility systems
- Commercial spaces for markets and essential services
- Dedicated areas for community facilities
The SDA aims to attract both local residents and investors by offering a blend of comfort, sustainability, and long-term growth potential.
Boost to Real Estate and Employment
Real estate experts believe the project will trigger new economic activity in the region, with increased employment opportunities during construction and after completion. The township is expected to become a model for future development plans in Western Uttar Pradesh.
Saharanpur residents have welcomed the announcement, expressing hope that the project will bring better lifestyle opportunities and modern infrastructure to the district.
