The Varun Vihar project is expected to significantly transform Lucknow’s housing landscape by introducing a modern, well-planned township along the high-connectivity Agra Expressway corridor. Officials said that the scheme will include integrated residential pockets, green belts, commercial zones, and essential public amenities to support large-scale urban development.
With land acquisition now progressing rapidly, the LDA aims to accelerate planning and layout approvals so that infrastructure work can begin soon. Urban planners believe that Varun Vihar will attract major investment and ease housing pressure in central Lucknow, making it one of the most ambitious residential expansions in Uttar Pradesh.
For the project, land has been identified across multiple villages under Sadar and Sarojininagar Tehsils, including Bhaliya, Adampur Indwara, Bahru, Jaliamau, Madarpur, Ibrahimganj, Nakaura, Gehlwara, Tejkrishna Kheda, Rewari, Sakra, and Dona. Officials said the initiative will open new avenues for urban expansion and elevate Lucknow’s real estate landscape.
