Weather Updates December 6 2025: The winter season is in its full bloom. Tourists are getting ready to pack their bags and plan their winter holidays at Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab.

North India Feels The Cold – Weather Updates December 6 2025

Cold wave conditions are likely to grip isolated pockets of Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, north interior Odisha, and northwest Jharkhand. Several parts of Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan are also likely to be gripped with intense cold waves. It is expected that there would be a gradual rise in minimum temperature over northwest India by 2-3°C during the next 2-3 days.

Himachal Pradesh may experience dense fog in the next 2-4 days, especially during early mornings.

Weather in Southwestern Indian States

No significant change in minimum temperature is expected for the next 3-4 days in the state of Maharashtra. Central, east, and north-eastern parts of the country and Gujarat are also not likely to experience any significant changes in minimum temperature for the next 6-7 days.

North East States – Weather Updates December 6 2025

Dense fog conditions are likely to prevail during early hours in the morning in isolated parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, and Meghalaya for the next 3-5 days.

Rain, Lightning, and Thunderstorms

Light/moderate isolated rainfall or snowfall is likely to happen over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad on 8th. Himachal Pradesh on 07th and Uttarakhand on 7th & 8th December are also likely to experience light/moderate isolated rainfall or snowfall.

Gusty Wind, Thunderstorm, and Lightning

Thunderstorm, lightning with Gusty Wind speed (30-40 gusting up to 50 kmph) is likely to prevail over Andaman & Nicobar Island during 6th and 7th December.

Fisherman Warning

Fishermen are advised not to venture into southeast Arabian sea, along & off Kerala, and Lakshadweep Islands.
