The big jump on Saturday shows that the film is not slowing down.

Industry trackers say that Dhurandhar held its momentum right into the weekend. The film saw a sharp 22% rise on Saturday. This shows that the word-of-mouth is strong. Friday numbers usually depend on hype.
But Saturday growth comes from real audience approval. People are walking out of theatres and telling others to watch it. That is what keeps a film running for many days.
This rise is also important for Ranveer Singh. He has been going through a tough phase at the box office. A solid commercial win like this can change things for him. Fans and trade experts already see Dhurandhar as one of his most important films. It has connected with both mass audiences and multiplex viewers.
With strong weekend demand, Dhurandhar is now close to beating the lifetime collection of Dil Dhadakne Do. That film made around Rs 76.8 crore in India. Dhurandhar is already near that mark and needs only a few more to cross it, which will happen today.
The film will enter Ranveer’s list of top 10 highest earners today (Sunday). As we can see, Dhurandhar is performing better than Saiyaara. This puts it on track to become 2025’s second-highest Bollywood grosser after Chhaava.

About The Film
Dhurandhar is a high-energy spy thriller inspired by true events. It is set around two major incidents – the 1999 IC-814 hijacking and the 2001 Parliament attack.
The film follows IB Chief Ajay Sanyal, who creates a daring secret mission to break a terror network operating in Pakistan. For this risky plan, he recruits Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a 20-year-old inmate from Punjab. Jaskirat is in jail for a revenge killing. He gets a new identity, Hamza Ali Mazari, and is sent deep into Karachi’s violent Lyari gangland. The first film shows how he enters the criminal world, rises in the Rehman Dakait gang, and sets up the covert operation called “Dhurandhar”.
The makers always planned Dhurandhar as a two-part story. The first film ends with a post-credit announcement that Dhurandhar Part 2 will release on 19 March 2026.
The cast is packed with strong performers. It stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal. The film is made on a big budget of around Rs 140 crore and has a runtime of 214 minutes. Both parts were reportedly shot together to keep the story and scale consistent.
