PM-KUSUM: Under the PM-KUSUM scheme, Luminous Power Technologies has received orders for a 350 MW solar project in Rajasthan.
The opportunity highlights the role of Luminous in advancing the clean energy initiatives of India. The company will be supplying 1,000 NXI A inverters that operate with up to 99 percent efficiency. These inverters will be designed for extreme weather with an IP66 and C5-M rating. Moreover, they provide advanced protections and a 10-year warranty, making them suitable for utility-scale solar applications.

Benefits For All
The project aims to foster livelihood enhancement and clean energy by integrating the solar technology of Luminous with the entrepreneurial drive of Rajasthan’s farmers. The generated electricity will be sold to local DISCOMs for distribution to consumers, benefiting over 150 farming families with additional income. It is expected that the installations could help in producing 500-560 million units of electricity annually, offsetting 402,000 to 459,000 tonnes of CO₂—akin to planting 19-22 million trees.
