Pay Disparity In Bollywood: Salman Khan Charges THIS Whopping Amount For Battle Of Galwan, Chitangada Singh Gets 98% Less, Check

Salman Khan charges around Rs 110 crore for Battle Of Galwan, while Chitrangada Singh is reportedly paid Rs 2 crore, highlighting a wide pay gap. The film, based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, is set to release in April 2026.

Salman Khan starrer Battle of Galwan is grabbing attention for its cast fees even before its release. Fans are excited to see the superstar in a serious and intense role. But the film is also drawing attention for another reason. A new report has sparked fresh debate around pay disparity in Bollywood.

The discussion started after reports about the actors’ fees surfaced online. Salman Khan is said to be charging a massive amount for the film. Meanwhile, Chitrangada Singh (who plays the female lead) is reportedly earning much less. The gap has once again raised questions about unequal pay in big Bollywood projects.

Salman Khan Takes THIS Whopping Amount For Battle Of Galwan

According to a report by Siasat.com, Salman Khan has allegedly charged around Rs 110 crore for Battle Of Galwan. This places him among the highest-paid actors in the country. His fee reflects his long-standing star power and loyal fan base.

In contrast, Chitrangada Singh, who plays the female lead, is reportedly being paid around Rs 2 crore. The difference between the two figures is hard to ignore. Chitrangada’s reported fee is nearly 98% less than Salman’s. This sharp gap has triggered strong reactions on social media.

Many fans are once again talking about pay disparity in Bollywood. The issue often comes up when big male stars lead high-budget films. Actresses, even in key roles, are usually paid far less. Battle of Galwan has now become the latest example in this ongoing debate.

The report also mentions the fees of other actors. Ankur Bhatia is reportedly earning around Rs 1.5 crore. Abhilash Chaudhary is said to be paid close to Rs 50 lakh. Actress Heera Sohal, who is also part of the film, is reportedly getting around Rs 1 crore.

However, there is an important caveat. None of these figures have been officially confirmed by the film’s makers.

It is also worth noting that Salman Khan continues to command huge fees despite recent box office setbacks. A Filmibeat report earlier claimed that he charged around Rs 120 crore for his previous film Sikandar. The film failed to impress at the box office. Even so, Salman’s market value remains strong due to his mass appeal.

Set to hit theatres in April 2026, Battle of Galwan is produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films.
