Tonk News: The District Special Team (DST) in Tonk of Rajasthan has averted a massive tragedy by seizing more than 150 kilograms of Ammonium Nitrate and other explosives.
The DST team seized the cache of Ammonium Nitrate, which was hidden inside urea fertilizer sacks, 6 bundles of safety fuse wire (about 1,100 meters) and 200 high-intensity explosive cartridges from a Maruti Ciaz.
The DST team arrested the two suspects from the Karwar area of Bundi district. The vehicle has been impounded.

The two arrested individuals have been identified as Surendra Mochi, a 33-year-old resident of Karwar, and Surendra Patwa, a 48-year-old resident of Karwar.

The DST team received a tip-off regarding the illegal transportation of explosives to Tonk from Bundi. A strategic roadblock was established by the DST team within the Baroni police station’s jurisdiction. Thereafter, the suspect vehicle was intercepted during the vehicle’s screening process.
