Pappu Yadav: Pappu Yadav, an independent Member of Parliament from Purnea, has made derogatory remarks against Union Minister Giriraj Singh.
In a post on X, Yadav wrote that Singh likes to play in mud and gave him a derogatory name.
It is not clear what exactly provoked his sudden outburst against Singh. However, it seems that Yadav was furious by the recent statements by Singh against Congress and Mamata Banerjee day after day.
Recently, Giriraj Singh had remarked that there is no Mahagathbandhan. Singh had added that no one sticks around after elections after flocking around Rahul Gandhi during elections. Regarding Mamata Banerjee, Giriraj had remarked that every single person in the state of West Bengal calls Mamata Banerjee against the Constitution of India.
Singh had also commented that no Chief Minister ever has snatched documents from the Enforcement Directorate. He went on to remark that Mamata claimed that she only took secret documents of the party but what were the party’s secret documents doing at the office that was raided as it was not the party office.

Users on the social media platform are now targeting Pappu Yadav and blasting his choice for words for someone of a stature of Giriraj Singh.
Previous Controversies
Three months back, Yadav had called Giriraj a ‘psycho’. He had also remarked that Giriraj is good enough only to play the role of a Shikhandi (an eunuch character from the epic Mahabharata).
In the past, Islamophobic slurs like “terrorist,” “pimp,” and “circumcized” were used by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri against BSP MP Danish Ali during a Lok Sabha debate on Chandrayaan.
During zero hour in Lok Sabha, defamatory language against Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Congress was used by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey.
