The Shiv Sena (UBT)-MNS alliance, however, is expected to come in a distant third with a significantly lower number of seats, effectively removing them from dominating the BMC after nearly 3 decades of being established as its primary party.

The final results of the election are expected to be completed soon, and if the exit poll predictions accurately come to fruition, many political analysts believe a majority of BJP members may lead to a new direction in the civic governance of the city of Mumbai and a change in the way resources are prioritised for the needs of the city and its residents. Additionally, it is possible that, if the exit polls are accurate, the political landscape of Mumbai may undergo a significant transformation after almost three decades of domination by the Thackeray family.
