Dhirendra Shastri: Indian Islamic Scholar Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi has remarked that Bageshwar Dham seer Dhirendra Shastri should show him only a single Muslim man having 30 children.
Maulana Bareilvi remarked that it was wrong for seers to make such divisive comments. Bareilvi went on to advise Shastri to marry as his marriageable age is passing and have children so he would understand the significance of kids in the life of parents. The Maulana went on to say that Shastri must feel the pain and agony of childless parents who go from corner to corner to get blessed with children.
Feud Between Shahabuddin and Dhirendra Shastri
Shahabuddin added that it has become a common occurrence for Shastri to blast Muslims for no reasons at all. The Maulana added today’s Muslims are educated and limiting their family size to just 2-3 children. He also remarked that children are a blessing from Allah and those who don’t have kids don’t understand how much valuable they are.
Recently, Dhirendra Shastri remarked the government says 2 kids are good but why do one have 30 children. Shastri urged members of the Hindu community to have at least 4 children and increase their population.
Barelvi, the national president of the All India Muslim Jamaat (AIMJ), entered into a word battle with Shastri after Bageshwar Dham seer commented that Muslims defend their “lustful Maulanas” while society labels Hindu priests as “lustful”. In 2025, the Dharm Shastra Yatra of Shastri was condemned by Razvi who accused the seer of pushing a Hindu Rashtra through a divisive rally, threatening the religious fabric of India.
Razvi targeted Shastri in 2025 alongside Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane calling their statements on events such as the Kumbh Mela violate constitutional pluralism and foster communal discord.
Shastri, a young sensation from Madhya Pradesh’s Bageshwar Dham, boasts millions of devotees through viral “divya darbar” sessions claiming miracles.
