The 50 Contestants List: After weeks of suspense, the buzz around The 50 is finally getting clearer. Names of contestants expected to enter the show have started surfacing online. The reality show will premiere on February 1 on Colors TV and JioHotstar.
The format is different from regular reality shows. Fifty celebrities will live under one roof, and there will be no typical eliminations. This fresh concept has already sparked strong curiosity among viewers.
Another major talking point is the masked host called ‘The Lion’. The makers have not revealed the identity yet. In recent promos, Farah Khan was seen calling Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. She asked each of them if they knew who the Lion was. None of them gave a clear answer, which has only added to the mystery.
The 50 Contestants List: Rumoured Names Expected To Join
Several popular names are being linked to The 50 contestants list. Mallika Sherawat is said to be in advanced talks with the makers. YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav is another name trending strongly on social media.
Mohabbatein actress Kim Sharma is also reportedly approached. From television, names like Shweta Tiwari, Jay Bhanushali, Ankita Lokhande and Vivian Dsena are being discussed.
Reality show regulars such as Uorfi Javed, Pratik Sehajpal, Nikki Tamboli and Shiv Thakare are also expected to join. Social media stars Kusha Kapila and Orry may bring their digital following to the show as per reports.
Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s name was also speculated earlier. However, he later denied being part of the show. So far, the makers have not officially confirmed the full contestant list.
The 50 Contestants List: Confirmed Names Set To Join
Alongside rumours, a few contestants have already confirmed their participation. Actor Karan Patel shared a picture of his invite on Instagram. It showed a black box with the show’s golden lion logo.
Influencer Faisu (who has over 33 million followers) also confirmed his entry. Divya Agarwal (winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 1) has been officially announced by the makers.
Bhojpuri actress Monalisa will enter the show with her husband Vikrant Singh Rajpoot. TV actor Shiny K Doshi and YouTuber Dushyant Kukreja have also revealed they are part of the competition.
Like Bigg Boss 19, The 50 will stream first on JioHotstar at 9 pm. The TV telecast will follow on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
Is Ajay Devgn The Lion?
The biggest mystery remains the Lion’s identity. In a recent promo, Ajay Devgn is seen watching The 50 on television. His phone keeps ringing with people asking if he is the Lion.
Ajay denies it and says, “Nahi yaar, mai nahi hun The 50 ka Lion. Chote mote pranks kar sakta hoon, par ye show kafi controversial lag raha hai. Main vardi wala Lion hoon (strikes his Singham pose). Last time bol raha hoon, main The 50 ka Lion nahi hoon.”

Reacting to the promo, a user wrote, “Are hme lga aap he hoo promo dekhar.” From the video, it appears Ajay Devgn’s appearance is only meant to build excitement ahead of the show’s launch.
