Nitish Kumar: A video of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has gone viral. In the video, Nitish can be seen calling an audience member during a Samriddhi Yatra event.
The Bihar CM could be seen making a pause to his speech mid-way while addressing the crowd. In his signature Bhojpuri-accented tone, Nitish said, “Arre woh mahila kaha gayi, aayiye na, idhar aayeye” (“Hey, where did that woman go? Come on, come here!”).

Nitish Kumar Incident During Samriddhi Yatra Event
The Bihar CM incident took place on January 16 during the Samriddhi Yatra, which is a state-wide outreach program, for reviewing the implementation of Bihar’s government schemes. The Yatra was flagged off from West Champaran (Bettiah).
Nitish then went on to make a gesture toward the audience listening to his speech. He appeared to spot someone and keeps waving his hand for “that woman” to turn up on the stage.
Nitish And Previous Controversies
A few weeks back, Nitish Kumar was seen pulling down a Muslim female doctor’s hijab during a government event.
In a viral video, Nitish was seen removing the hijab of the female doctor while giving her the appointment letter as a doctor of alternative medicine. In the video, Nitish could be seen asking the woman to remove the veil. Before the female doctor could react, the Bihar CM pulled her veil down to expose her face. A minister standing next to the Bihar CM tried to intervene but he was late and many present on the stage started laughing.
The 74-year-old Nitish has been the Chief Minister of Bihar for more than 20 years. A close ally of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitish won the Bihar legislative assembly election a few months back.
Many social media users commented that the Bihar CM has lost his mind and does not deserve to be in the CM chair.
