In a recent video shared on his YouTube channel Healthy Hamesha, Dr Zaidi explained how neem is one of the most underestimated herbs in daily health care. He pointed out that from Ayurveda to modern science, neem is considered a broad-spectrum medicinal plant. In simple terms, one bitter leaf can support the skin, liver, immunity, blood sugar balance and even help fight infections.
Dr Zaidi, who has been practising for over 20 years, said people often rush to creams, antibiotics, or chemical solutions for everyday problems. However, neem works differently. It supports the body from within and helps fix issues at the root.

In Ayurveda, neem is known as Nimba. Ancient texts like the Charak Samhita describe it as a powerful herb that kills microbes and treats skin disorders. Modern research backs this claim too.
Neem extract has been shown to fight acne-causing bacteria, fungi, and even some viruses. This is why neem helps with pimples, rashes, itching and skin allergies. Instead of just drying out the skin like many products do, neem targets the cause of the problem. This reduces the chances of acne or infections coming back.
