Republic Day 2026: CM Yogi Adityanath Calls on Youth to Uphold Constitutional Values and Build a New Uttar Pradesh

CM Yogi Adityanath extended warm Republic Day wishes to all residents of Uttar Pradesh and expressed confidence that the state will continue to scale new heights of democratic strength and development.

On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day 2026, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the core constitutional values of liberty, equality, justice, and fraternity, describing them as the soul of India’s democracy.

In his message, the Chief Minister said that the Constitution of India, which came into force on January 26, 1950, represents the nation’s long democratic journey and serves as a guiding force for unity in diversity. He emphasized that Uttar Pradesh is progressing in accordance with the constitutional vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, with a strong focus on good governance, robust law and order, and inclusive development.

Build a New Uttar Pradesh

Yogi Adityanath highlighted that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is working to build a New Uttar Pradesh where farmers are prospering, women are becoming empowered and self-reliant, and youth are gaining access to education, skills, and employment opportunities. He added that government welfare schemes are reaching the last person in the queue with transparency and sensitivity.

The Chief Minister said that the state is mBuild a New Uttar Pradeshoving steadily towards comprehensive development, ensuring that every citizen feels safe, respected, and empowered. He reiterated that the government remains dedicated to creating a harmonious, inclusive, and equitable society.

Special Appeal to Youth

On Republic Day, CM Yogi Adityanath made a special appeal to the youth of Uttar Pradesh, urging them to internalise the ideals of the Constitution and actively participate in the construction of a strong and developed state. He called upon young citizens to take a pledge of loyalty to the Constitution, dedication to the nation, and responsibility towards society.

He stressed that along with constitutional rights, citizens must also faithfully discharge their fundamental duties, and strive for excellence in both individual and collective efforts. According to him, discipline, hard work, and a strong sense of nationalism among the youth will help achieve the vision of “Developed India – Developed Uttar Pradesh” at the earliest.
