Exam Structure and Papers
CTET 2026 will be conducted in two shifts each day. Paper 1 targets candidates aiming to teach Classes I to V, while Paper 2 is for aspirants seeking eligibility for Classes VI to VIII. Candidates can appear for both papers if they wish to teach all levels. The exam uses OMR sheets and is strictly pen-and-paper based.
Admit Card Availability and Download Process
The CTET 2026 admit card is now available on the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in. Candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth. The admit card contains crucial details such as name, roll number, exam centre, shift timing, and reporting instructions. A valid photo ID is required alongside the admit card for entry.
City Slip and Reporting Guidelines
CBSE had earlier released the city intimation slip on January 23, helping candidates confirm their exam locations. Applicants must report to the centre well before the reporting time, as late entries are strictly not allowed. Security checks and biometric verification will be conducted at all centres.
Key Instructions for Candidates
Electronic devices, calculators, smartwatches, or study materials are prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates should carefully read the guidelines on the admit card to ensure smooth entry and participation.
