The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4: It looks like Kapil Sharma is deliberately inviting celebrities who are already in the news to keep the buzz around his show strong. After AR Rahman’s recent appearance following his viral remarks on communal bias, Kapil has now welcomed Punjabi singer AP Dhillon, who grabbed headlines for his viral stage romance with actress Tara Sutaria.

The upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will feature AP Dhillon alongside stand-up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi. The makers have released the trailer online.

Kapil Sharma’s sharp humour and playful takes on concert culture have caught attention. From expensive tickets to chaotic crowds, the trailer looks fun-filled indeed.

Kapil Sharma Jokes About AP Dhillon On The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4

The trailer opens with Kapil Sharma welcoming AP Dhillon and Anubhav Singh Bassi on stage. The conversation quickly shifts to concert stories, including ticket prices reportedly touching Rs 6 lakh and fans losing phones and wallets in packed venues.

Kapil then says, “AP stage pe apna talent dikha rahe the… aur log audience mein apna talent.”

What follows is a full Punjabi boys’ adda on Kapil’s stage. Jokes fly thick and fast as the regular cast joins in. Kiku Sharda appears as Chota Shaikh, while Krushna Abhishek enters as Bada Shaikh. Sunil Grover’s entry as Diamond Raja takes things to another level.

Netflix Confirms Season 5 Even Before S4 Wrap Up

While Season 4 continues to create buzz, Netflix has officially confirmed that The Great Indian Kapil Show will return for Season 5. The announcement was made during Netflix India’s slate event.

Netflix India chief Monika Shergill spoke about the renewal and said, “It’s the first fifth that we are doing and we are really excited for it.”

The event itself was filled with fun moments. Navjot Singh Sidhu suggested that Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda deserved the Padma Shri for their contribution to Indian comedy. He also referred to Kapil and Sunil’s old mid-flight fallout.

Sunil Grover recreated the viral “baby slowly, slowly” song, which had earlier gone viral when he sang it with Priyanka Chopra on the show. The cast soon joined in, turning it into a cheerful group moment.

The Great Indian Kapil Show premiered on Netflix in March 2024 and has since become one of the platform’s most-watched non-fiction titles in India.
