Akbaruddin Owaisi: Telangana MLA from the Chandrayangutta assembly constituency has cautioned Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that he would be visiting the state very soon.
Akbaruddin Owaisi, the brother of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi, remarked his party is all set to expand in the state.

Akbaruddin while addressing a public rally in Telangana’s Nizamabad remarked AIMIM would raise the party flags in the state of Uttar Pradesh too.

During the speech, Akbaruddin remarked someone who wears Tilak on the forehead has the same rights as someone who wears a cap on the head. The Telangana MLA remarked that India is of everyone and even the country’s Muslims have sacrificed; Akbaruddin commented that the biggest issue before India is unemployment but politicians make people fool by making the Hindu-Muslim issue the biggest concern for all.
Akbaruddin was elected pro-term speaker of the state legislative assembly of Telangana in 2023. His statement in 2012 when he remarked give 15 minutes to us (250 million Muslims) and we will teach a lesson to 1 billion Hindus is still remembered.
BJP’s Reaction
BJP MLA Ketki Singh commented on the statement of Akbaruddin Owaisi saying CM Yogi Adityanath is always prepared. Ketki added that Owaisi should first decide whether he wants to visit Uttar Pradesh or somewhere else, possibility hinting at hell. The BJP MLA added that Yogi Adityanath is a lion who does not get scared at all and Owaisi should think again and again if he wants to create a riot-like situation in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Interestingly, BJP has nothing to worry about AIMIM as all it could do is to cut the vote base of the Samajwadi Party and the Indian National Congress.
