Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath visited the headquarters and College Central campus of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in Singapore, where he held detailed discussions with officials of ITE Education Services (ITEES) to strengthen cooperation in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). The visit focused on knowledge sharing and collaboration in emerging sectors such as aviation, logistics, advanced manufacturing, and data centre operations, with the aim of enhancing workforce readiness in Uttar Pradesh.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s ongoing efforts to transform skill development infrastructure and align training programs with global industry standards. He emphasized that partnerships with reputed international institutions would help create a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of modern industries and attracting global investment.

These zones are envisioned as integrated hubs combining industrial activity with skill training centres, which will require robust institutional collaboration for curriculum design, trainer development, and capacity building.

Officials from ITEES expressed interest in expanding cooperation through joint training initiatives, exchange programs, and advisory support for setting up world-class vocational training systems. The Chief Minister noted that such partnerships would not only create employment opportunities for youth but also accelerate industrial growth and economic development across the state.

The visit forms part of a broader strategy by the Uttar Pradesh government to build global alliances in education, technology, and industry. According to officials, these engagements are expected to play a key role in preparing the state’s workforce for future-ready sectors and strengthening its position as an emerging investment destination in India.
