Weather Update February 27 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that a series of cyclonic circulations would become active across the Arabian Sea, Northwest India and the Bay of Bengal.
Light to moderate rain is likely to affect Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and several parts of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The IMD also predicted isolated thunderstorms could be a possibility over Kerala, Telangana and parts of North India hills.

Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Prayagraj, Meerut, Bareilly, Aligarh, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Gorakhpur, Noida, Firozabad, Jhansi, Muzaffarnagar, Mathura, Rampur, Shahjahanpur and Farrukhabad would experience moderate heat.

Maximum temperature is likely to be between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Ratlam, Burhanpur, Satna, Rewa, Bhind, Shivpuri, Guna, Damoh, Chhindwara, Vidisha, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Morena and Datia.
Haryana Weather Update
Temperatures will rise sharply in many regions of Chandigarh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Panipat, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Rohtak, Hisar, Karnal, Sonipat, Panchkula, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Bahadurgarh, Jind, Kaithal, Fatehabad, Rewari, Palwal and Mahendragarh. The weather will remain dry while the sun will stay strong, especially during late afternoon.

Temperatures expected to rise in Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Bathinda, Hoshiarpur, Mohali, Gurdaspur, Amloh, Firozpur, Faridkot, Moga, Nawanshahr, Rupnagar, Mansa, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Barnala, Pathankot and Malerkotla.
Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand And Himachal Pradesh Weather Update
Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Kupwara, Kulgam, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Doda, Kishtwar, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Reasi, Samba, Udhampur and Kargil are likely to experience snowfall and mild rainfall. Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti towns, Kullu-Manali area, Palampur, Sundernagar, Arki, Dalhousie and Kasauli are likely to experience the same weather conditions.
Isolated light to moderate rain along with thunderstorms is likely at Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Bageshwar, Pauri, Tehri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi and Dehradun.
