Neel Garg, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, said that March 10, 2022 marked a historic moment for Punjab, when the people of the state gave a massive mandate to the party in the assembly elections.

In a social media post, Garg said the people of Punjab gave 92 seats to the Aam Aadmi Party, sending a clear message that the state wanted honest and development-focused politics.

Highlighting the achievements of the government led by Bhagwant Mann, he said that the administration has focused on delivering results rather than making promises.
According to Garg, several initiatives have been implemented over the past four years, including modernisation of government schools and free electricity up to 300 units for households.
He also mentioned that the government has provided thousands of government jobs to youth and maintained zero tolerance against corruption, while taking strict action against drug trafficking.

Among other initiatives highlighted were the Chief Minister Health Insurance Card offering coverage up to ₹10 lakh, financial assistance schemes for women and the creation of a Road Safety Force to improve road safety across the state.
Garg also said that the government has closed 21 toll plazas, providing relief to commuters, while ensuring daytime electricity supply for farmers and improved canal water supply to agricultural fields.
He added that these initiatives represent more than just governance, describing them as a foundation for the future development of Punjab.
Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Garg said the transformation chosen by the people in 2022 is now visible in villages and cities across the state.
Garg further said that the government has been working to strengthen public services, transparency and welfare schemes, with a focus on improving the quality of life of ordinary citizens across the state.
He noted that investments in education, healthcare and employment opportunities are aimed at creating long-term development and ensuring that young people have better prospects within the state.
He also emphasised that the government remains committed to continuing reforms and development initiatives, while ensuring that governance remains accountable and focused on public welfare.
According to him, the mandate given by the people of Punjab reflects their aspiration for clean governance and inclusive growth, and the government will continue to work toward fulfilling those expectations.
