How Trisha Krishnan And Vijay’s Affair Rumours Started
The rumours began after Trisha and Vijay attended the wedding reception of producer Kalpathi Suresh’s son in Chennai. The two actors arrived together at the event and were seen wearing matching cream and gold outfits. Their appearance together caught everyone’s attention, and soon social media was filled with dating rumours.
The timing of the event also created more talk because reports had surfaced that Vijay’s wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam, had filed for divorce. According to reports, the petition mentioned infidelity and referred to an unnamed actress. Because of this, many people started linking the rumours to Trisha. However, there has been no official confirmation about any relationship.
Several people from the film industry also reacted to the rumours. Director R Parthiban and actor Sriman shared their views on social media. Sriman even suggested that Vijay and Trisha could simply be good friends and people should not make assumptions without proof.

Vijay has not directly spoken about Trisha, but he recently addressed the ongoing controversy during a rally of his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Speaking to his supporters, he said, “There are some issues running around in the recent past, isn’t it? I see all of you busy fighting those allegations and getting hurt in the process. In fact, I get hurt when I see you get hurt. I will take care of all that. Let’s get involved in people’s problems. Don’t get hurt about that problem – it’s not worth bothering about. Be confident. Only good things will happen.”
Reports have also claimed that Sangeeta mentioned in her petition that Vijay had been emotionally distant since 2021, but these claims have not been officially confirmed.
The controversy comes at an important time for Vijay, as he is preparing to enter electoral politics in Tamil Nadu through his party TVK. The actor has been busy with political rallies in recent months. One of his events last year in Karur made headlines after a stampede led to multiple deaths.
On the film front, Vijay’s upcoming movie Jana Nayagan is still waiting for certification from the Central Board of Film Certification. The film was earlier expected to release during the Pongal festival, but the final release date has not been announced yet.
