CM Yogi Adityanath Extends Greetings on Chaitra Navratri and Vikram Samvat 2083 to People of Uttar Pradesh

CM Yogi Adityanath extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri and the beginning of the Sanatan New Year, Vikram Samvat 2083. In a message addressed to the citizens, he expressed hope that the sacred festival dedicated to the worship of Adishakti would bring devotion, strength and renewed energy into everyone’s lives.

In his message, the Chief Minister said that over the past year the state has continued to progress steadily, with people from every section of society contributing to the journey of development. He noted that the transformation of the state has been made possible through collective efforts aimed at building a stronger and more prosperous Uttar Pradesh.

Yogi Adityanath highlighted the role of women’s empowerment in the state’s development and described Navratri as not only a festival of worship but also a celebration of Nari Shakti. He said that a society becomes stronger when daughters are empowered and given equal opportunities to succeed.

Referring to his interaction with women during International Women’s Day, the Chief Minister shared the example of Soni Kumari from Chandauli, whose journey towards self-reliance through floriculture has inspired many. He said that several women associated with her group are now earning livelihoods and contributing to their families.

The Chief Minister also highlighted initiatives taken by the state government to support women and promote their participation in social and economic development. These include programmes such as Mission Shakti, the Rani Lakshmibai Scooty Scheme, and the Women Entrepreneur Credit Card Scheme, which aim to provide safety, mobility and financial support to women.

According to the Chief Minister, nearly half of the around 20,000 startups in the state are being led by women, reflecting the growing participation of women in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Concluding his message, Yogi Adityanath urged citizens to continue supporting the vision of a developed state by ensuring that daughters receive the same opportunities as sons in every field, enabling them to achieve their dreams and contribute to the state’s progress.
