CM Yogi Adityanath: Uttar Pradesh has witnessed significant industrial expansion over the past several years, with 17,841 new factories registered in the state since April 2017, according to official data released by the government.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the total number of registered factories in Uttar Pradesh has now reached 32,019, reflecting a steady rise in industrial activity and investor confidence.

Officials stated that this industrial growth has generated employment for over 16 lakh people, providing a major boost to livelihoods and contributing to the state’s economic development. The expansion spans multiple sectors, including manufacturing, food processing, textiles, and small-scale industries.

The government attributed the rise in factory registrations to improved ease of doing business, streamlined approvals, and investor-friendly policies. Simplification of regulatory procedures and digitization of services have played a key role in attracting investments to the state.
