Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Success
Despite the online buzz, Dhurandhar 2 is performing exceptionally well in theatres. Titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the film is a sequel to the 2025 hit.
The movie stars Ranveer Singh along with R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, and Arjun Rampal. It is directed by Aditya Dhar.
The story is set in Lyari, Karachi, and focuses on crime, intelligence operations, and major historical events. These include the Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 Parliament attack, and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
The sequel explores the backstory of Ranveer’s character, Hamza (also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi). It also shows how he rises to power while trying to stop a dangerous terror network.
At the box office, the film has delivered strong numbers. It earned Rs 75 crore from paid previews and collected Rs 165 crore on its opening day. So far, it has crossed over Rs 1032 crore in India and more than Rs 1600 crore worldwide.
