Bhagwant Mann has continued its statewide crackdown on organized crime under the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign, conducting large-scale operations to dismantle gangster networks and enhance public safety.

According to Punjab Police, a total of 546 targeted raids were carried out in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) across multiple districts. These operations aimed at identifying and neutralizing active criminal elements.
Arrests and Recoveries
During the latest action, 253 individuals were arrested, including three proclaimed offenders. Police also recovered two weapons, indicating continued efforts to curb illegal arms circulation.
Ongoing Crackdown on Gang Networks
Officials stated that the campaign has been sustained over several days, with total arrests reaching 21,905 since its launch. The drive is focused on breaking the backbone of organized gangs operating in the state.

Authorities have urged citizens to support the initiative by sharing information anonymously through the anti-gangster helpline, ensuring community participation in maintaining law and order.
