Haryana News: Rao Narbir Singh, the Industries and Commerce Minister of Haryana, announced that the 135 kilometres Kundli Manesar Palwal expressway would emerge as a powerful and seamless gateway to the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Singh also added that the expressway would be a key driver to the industrial growth of Haryana and transform the northern state into India’s logistics powerhouse.

The Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister also added that a Panchgram Development Authority has been constituted by the state government to develop 5 new cities along both sides of the proposed expressway.

Singh announced that the Kundli Manesar Palwal expressway would be developed on the Singapore model to transform the entire region and state into an out-of-the-box hub of modern urbanization and industrial expansion.
The Cabinet Minister remarked that the expressway would help in offering world-class infrastructure and robust connectivity to accelerate employment, investment and economic activity in the state of Haryana. Singh also added that Haryana would be introducing key industrial policy amendments to further boost the state’s growth.
Faster Clearances And Investor-Friendly Ecosystem
The Cabinet Minister also remarked that Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) should no longer just be confined to the generation of revenue, but also on offering faster clearances, efficient services and an investor-friendly ecosystem.
Singh also added that Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has already approved 5 new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) and 5 more would be added by 2030.
According to media reports, the five proposed Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) include New Gurugram, Bhiwani, Narnaul, Greater Faridabad and Hisar. The initiative fulfils the manifesto promises of BJP, focusing on expressways like Delhi-Katra and Dabwali-Panipat.
Once the frontrunner of the Green Revolution, the state of Haryana has already established itself as a global information technology hub; the state is now all set to conquer the country’s next phase of industrial growth with upcoming IMTs.
