Speaking about her daughter, Alia said, “I wish for her to actually be an athlete. She’s so competitive and she’s so athletic. She’s only three, but she really jumps around like a bee in a bonnet,” highlighting Raha’s playful yet driven personality.
Her statement stands out in an industry where star kids often step into acting. Instead of pushing Raha toward films, Alia seems keen on letting her explore her natural strengths. The actor’s perspective reflects a growing trend among celebrity parents who want their children to carve their own path rather than inherit fame.

Alia said, “I think, starting with my family. My mother, the strongest, most impactful influence growing up, watching her navigate through raising me and my sister, and still keeping the fire of wanting to be an actor alive in herself, whether she did it through theatre or through television.”
Alia married actor Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. The couple welcomed Raha later that year in November, marking a new chapter in their lives.

While motherhood remains central, Alia continues to stay busy professionally. She will next be seen in Alpha, part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, alongside Sharvari and Bobby Deol.
She is also set to reunite with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is expected to hit screens next year.
