Ameesha Patel was travelling from New York to Mumbai via Dubai on an Emirates flight when the situation unfolded. Just as the aircraft was preparing to land in Dubai, authorities temporarily closed UAE airspace following reports of fresh missile attacks in the region. The flight was immediately diverted to Muscat, causing delays and confusion among passengers onboard.

Taking to social media, Ameesha Patel kept fans updated about the tense situation. After finally reaching Mumbai, she expressed relief and gratitude. She wrote, “Finallyyyyyyy MUMBAI!!! Thank you everyone for all your prayers (sic).”
Earlier, she had described the uncertainty during the journey. She said, “On my way back to MUMBAI from NEW YORK on Emirates! As we were about to land in DUBAI, the airspace closed in the UAE due to fresh missile attacks! We have now been diverted to MUSCAT and are awaiting further updates!! When will this WAR end!! Praying (sic).”

Ameesha Patel was not alone during the journey. She was travelling with DJ Chetas and producer Kunal Goomer. The trio faced long waiting hours as flight operations remained uncertain. In another update, the actor highlighted the exhausting delay. She shared, “24 hours from the time we left NYC and still counting hours to reach Mumbai. Endless airport lounge time (sic).”
According to her posts, passengers had to wait for further instructions after landing in Muscat, as the situation in the UAE continued to remain tense.
