‘Why Did She Not Make That Call?’ Twisha Sharma Death Mystery Deepens! Twisha Sharma Death: Army Major Demands Answers on Calm Mother-in-Law Video & Delayed FIR

Twisha Sharma's death mystery has deepened after an Army major questioned why she didn't call her mother after 10:05 PM on May 12. Her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, appeared calm in video footage, while the FIR was delayed 3 days until May 15. Twisha was found hanging at her Bhopal home after a distress call alleging harassment.

Twisha Sharma: The Twisha Sharma death mystery has taken a dramatic turn after an Army major asked why the 33-year-old former Miss Pune didn’t call her mother after her distress call at 10:05 PM on May 12, 2026.

Why can’t you call after 10 pm?

But Twisha’s family said she made an emotional phone call around 10.05 pm talking about harassment at her matrimonial home at Katara Hills in Bhopal. The family says they called multiple times before they were told around 10:20 PM that Twisha was “not breathing.”

Mother-in-law Video Relaxed

The outrage is about the bizarrely calm demeanour of Giribala Singh seen in video footage. The retired District Judge has denied the murder charges and claimed that Twisha was suffering from serious mental health issues and needed psychiatric monitoring.

The Controversial 3-Day Delay In FIR Filing

However, Twisha’s father, Navnidhi Sharma, has pointed out a major procedural lapse. He claimed:

  • You speak of ‘Nari Vandan’, but the special police station for women refuses to register our Zero FIR”
  • The police station was just a few steps away from the house
  • Police did not inform parents how the body was handled

Twisha’s mysterious final messages

Twisha Sharma: “I am trapped, bro,” Twisha wrote in WhatsApp chats. “I’m stuck, bro. Don’t get stuck there.”

Autopsy noted hanging, but also simple injury marks on her body. Her family refused to give her the last rites and insisted on a fresh post-mortem at AIIMS Delhi, claiming that she was about two months pregnant. The army major has demanded an independent SIT probe, saying that the family of the accused former judge includes “powerful people”.
