Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh inaugurated a road development project in Urban Estate Phase-2 of Patiala aimed at improving local infrastructure and public facilities.
According to the minister, around 25 kilometres of roads will be constructed under the project at an estimated cost of nearly ₹5 crore.

The Punjab government stated that the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure and improve civic amenities across urban and residential areas of the state.
Officials said the project is intended to provide residents with better connectivity, smoother transportation, and improved day-to-day public convenience.
