According to information shared by Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains, the campaign will focus on enhancing cleanliness infrastructure and monitoring sanitation work more closely at the ground level. The initiative is intended to address civic cleanliness challenges and improve the overall urban environment across the state.
Under the programme, sanitation workers and senior government officials will remain actively engaged in field inspections every morning between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Authorities said the daily monitoring mechanism is designed to ensure that cleanliness operations are carried out effectively and that local issues receive prompt attention.

Officials will also use video-call-based monitoring systems to review sanitation arrangements in different locations and assess the progress of cleanliness activities. The government believes that the use of technology and direct supervision can help improve efficiency and strengthen oversight of municipal services.
The Punjab administration stated that the campaign forms part of its broader efforts to improve public services, maintain cleaner urban spaces, and enhance the quality of life for residents. Authorities added that regular monitoring, public participation, and coordinated efforts by local bodies will play an important role in the success of the initiative.
