The Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government has launched 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state, marking another step in its healthcare expansion initiative aimed at improving access to affordable medical services.

The announcement was made by Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, who dedicated the new clinics to the public during an event in Patiala. The government also outlined plans to further strengthen the state’s healthcare infrastructure in the coming months.
According to the announcement, the Punjab government will:
- Launch 300 more Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state.
- Establish 250 village clinics to improve healthcare access in rural areas.
- Create employment opportunities for rural youth through the expansion of healthcare facilities.
- Introduce 24-hour operation theatre services at the healthcare facility in Tripuri, Patiala to enhance emergency and surgical care.
The state government said the initiative is part of its broader healthcare reform agenda, which focuses on expanding primary healthcare services, improving medical infrastructure, and ensuring quality treatment is available closer to people’s homes.
The expansion of Aam Aadmi Clinics is expected to strengthen preventive healthcare, reduce the burden on major hospitals, and improve access to essential medical services for residents across Punjab.
