Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday handed over appointment letters to 866 newly selected candidates for various government departments as part of the state’s employment drive.
The appointment ceremony was held in Mohali, where the Chief Minister congratulated the newly recruited employees and encouraged them to perform their duties with honesty, dedication and commitment.
With the latest appointments, the total number of government jobs provided by the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government has reached 69,094, according to the Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab unit.
Bhagwant Mann: Focus on Employment Opportunities
The latest recruitment is being presented by the Punjab government as part of its broader ‘Rozgar Kranti’ (Employment Revolution) initiative, aimed at expanding employment opportunities for young people across the state.
Addressing the newly appointed employees, Mann called on them to treat their government responsibilities seriously and work diligently for the people of Punjab.

The appointment letters were distributed to candidates selected for positions across different departments. The government said the latest round takes the cumulative number of government appointments made during the current administration to 69,094.
