The Punjab government has invited applications from qualified mental health professionals for positions under its Leadership in Mental Health Programme (LMHP), an initiative aimed at strengthening mental healthcare services across the state.
The recruitment drive is being undertaken as part of the government’s broader campaign against drug abuse, with a focus not only on curbing drug trafficking but also on improving the mental and physical well-being of Punjab’s people.
According to the announcement shared by AAP Punjab, applications have been invited for the posts of Senior Associate and Mental Health Fellow under the programme.
Bhagwant Mann: Eligibility and Remuneration
For the Senior Associate position, candidates are required to have a Master’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants should also have at least four years of relevant professional experience.
The advertised remuneration for the Senior Associate post is ₹80,000 per month, with the maximum age limit set at 35 years.
The programme is seeking young professionals with expertise in mental health who can contribute to Punjab’s efforts to address substance abuse and promote better mental healthcare.
Focus on Mental Health and Drug De-Addiction
