CM Yogi Adityanath to Lead Tiranga Yatra in Gorakhpur Under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

The campaign seeks to turn the national flag into a visible symbol of India's freedom, unity and shared national identity.

A Tiranga Yatra will be organised in Gorakhpur on Monday, August 10, as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, with Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath set to lead the programme.

The Uttar Pradesh government said the campaign is being carried out across the state following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call and under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The initiative aims to promote patriotism, national unity and democratic values among citizens.

CM Yogi Adityanath: Tiranga Yatra to Begin from Town Hall

According to the programme details shared by the UP government, the Tiranga Yatra will take place on August 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM.

The procession will begin at the Municipal Corporation premises at Town Hall and proceed towards the Maharana Pratap statue site on Railway Station Road in Gorakhpur.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will personally lead the Tiranga Yatra, which the state government said will strengthen feelings of patriotism and national pride among citizens.

‘Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga’

The Uttar Pradesh government said the Tiranga Yatra will symbolise respect for the national flag, gratitude towards freedom fighters and a collective commitment to protecting the unity and integrity of the country.

The administration has also appealed to people across Uttar Pradesh to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by hoisting the national flag at their homes.

Gorakhpur to Host Major Patriotic Programme

Gorakhpur, known as the sacred land associated with Guru Gorakhnath, will host the Tiranga Yatra as part of the wider statewide campaign.

The government has urged citizens to join the initiative and participate in what it described as a celebration of freedom, unity and national pride.

The message from the Uttar Pradesh government concludes with the call for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga’, encouraging people to celebrate the national spirit while showing respect for the Tricolour.
