CM Yogi Adityanath Announces Development Projects Worth ₹435 Crore in Deoria and Gorakhpur

He said that ensuring public welfare and promoting development across every sector remain key commitments of the double-engine government.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has announced a major push for development and public welfare in eastern Uttar Pradesh, with projects worth more than ₹435 crore lined up across Deoria and Gorakhpur.

Sharing the details, Yogi Adityanath said that the journey of good governance, development and public welfare from Deoria’s Salempur and Bhatpar Rani Assembly constituencies to Gorakhpur would receive fresh momentum through a series of infrastructure and development initiatives.

Development Projects Worth ₹435 Crore in Deoria and Gorakhpur

In Deoria, 80 development projects worth ₹305 crore will be inaugurated or have their foundation stones laid in the Salempur and Bhatpar Rani Assembly areas.

Gorakhpur will witness another major round of development activity, with 170 projects costing more than ₹130 crore scheduled for inauguration or foundation-laying.

As part of the programme, the ‘Kalyan Mandapam’ at Basharatpur in the Raptinagar area of Gorakhpur will also be dedicated to public service.

The Chief Minister linked the initiatives to the government’s broader vision of development and welfare for all sections of society. He said that ensuring public welfare and promoting development across every sector remain key commitments of the double-engine government.

The projects are expected to strengthen local infrastructure and contribute to development in the eastern Uttar Pradesh region, while expanding public facilities and services for residents of Deoria and Gorakhpur.
