The Bhagwant Mann, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), intensified its statewide operation against criminal and gangster networks on Day 221 of the ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign.
Bhagwant Mann Conducts 595 Raids in Statewide Gangster
As part of the latest crackdown, police teams carried out 595 targeted raids at locations identified and mapped as being linked to gangster activities across Punjab. The operation resulted in the arrest of 389 individuals, including seven proclaimed offenders.

Police also recovered 16 weapons during the coordinated raids, adding to the seizures made throughout the campaign.
With the latest arrests, the cumulative number of people arrested since the launch of the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign has risen to 66,046, according to the Punjab Police.
The police said the sustained operation is aimed at disrupting gangster networks, apprehending wanted criminals and strengthening public safety across the state. The campaign continues to focus on intelligence-based action against individuals and locations associated with organised criminal activities.
The Punjab Police has also appealed to members of the public to share information about gangster-related activities. Information can be provided anonymously through the Anti-Gangster Helpline at 93946-93946.
