The Geetu Mohandas directorial earned Rs 5.10 crore net in India on Day 8, down nearly 35% from the Rs 7.85 crore it made on Day 7. The film’s total India net collection now stands at Rs 234.70 crore, with a worldwide total of Rs 322 crore.

The Hindi version remained Toxic‘s strongest performer on Day 8, contributing around Rs 3.15 crore. The Kannada version added roughly Rs 1.35 crore, while Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions brought in smaller amounts. Overall occupancy across languages stood at just 13.19%.
The Small Film Gaining Ground
While Toxic cools off, Hanuman Ansh has quietly built momentum through nearly four weeks in theatres. The devotional drama’s occupancy climbed to around 46% by its fourth week, with show counts rising even as newer, bigger releases hit screens.

On its Hindi circuit, Hanuman Ansh pulled in a single-day collection higher than what Toxic managed on a comparable day of its run, a gap that has caught the industry’s attention given the massive difference in scale and budget between the two films.
